Trout season opens early in PA; Fish and Boat Commission say to practice social distancing

(WJAC) — The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission has announced the opening of the statewide 2020 trout season. Officials said the season begins at 8 a.m. Tuesday. The decision was made in consultation with Gov. Tom Wolf's office, the state Department of Health and the state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. According to a release, the immediate opening of trout season is intended to discourage large gatherings of people that may have occurred on the traditional opening day, April 18.

Woman accused of drugging, sexually abusing dog in Somerset County

SOMERSET COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — State police say charges have been filed against a Fayette County woman after she reportedly drugged and sexually abused a male dog. Police say the incident reportedly occurred in early January at a residence along the 100 block of Paul Street in Casselman Borough, Somerset County. Troopers say 31-year-old Nikki Dillinger, of Connellsville, reportedly admitted to performing sexual acts on a male boxer while she was intoxicated.

Australian brothers and American found dead in Mexican well after surf trip

MEXICO CITY (AP) — Relatives have identified three bodies found in a well as those of two Australian surfers and one American who went missing last weekend, Mexican authorities said Sunday. Baja California state prosecutors said the relatives had viewed the corpses recovered from a remote well about 50 feet (15 meters) deep and recognized them as their loved ones. DuBois senior admits to stealing over $2K from school safe
