Johnstown, PA (WJAC) — The Johnstown Tomahawks announced Tuesday that Pittsburgh Steelers running-back Jaylen Warren will be making a special guest appearance at an upcoming game.
“We’ve never had a Steeler on the active roster come for an appearance, so it’ll be a special night” said Derek Partsch, Tomahawks Director of Business Operations. “Any time you get a player like Jaylen, it’s always going to be fun. He’s a young, energetic guy and that excitement will carry over into our game” Partsch added, “Jaylen has a bright future in Pittsburgh.

(WJAC) — The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission has announced the opening of the statewide 2020 trout season.
Officials said the season begins at 8 a.m. Tuesday. The decision was made in consultation with Gov. Tom Wolf's office, the state Department of Health and the state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources.
According to a release, the immediate opening of trout season is intended to discourage large gatherings of people that may have occurred on the traditional opening day, April 18.
SOMERSET COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — State police say charges have been filed against a Fayette County woman after she reportedly drugged and sexually abused a male dog.
Police say the incident reportedly occurred in early January at a residence along the 100 block of Paul Street in Casselman Borough, Somerset County.
Troopers say 31-year-old Nikki Dillinger, of Connellsville, reportedly admitted to performing sexual acts on a male boxer while she was intoxicated.
BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. — A Blair County woman is behind bars after leaving her four-year-old son at her home alone and attempting to break into another residence Wednesday, state police say.
According to a press release, troopers were dispatched to a home along Pond St. in Frankstown Township, Blair County just before 10 p.m. for a report of a female attempting to break into an occupied residence.
State police say that, when they arrived on scene, they found the female, Olivia McEwen, 27, located in a children's tree house behind the residence.

MEXICO CITY (AP) — Relatives have identified three bodies found in a well as those of two Australian surfers and one American who went missing last weekend, Mexican authorities said Sunday.
Baja California state prosecutors said the relatives had viewed the corpses recovered from a remote well about 50 feet (15 meters) deep and recognized them as their loved ones.
Thieves apparently killed the three, who were on a surfing trip to Mexico's Baja peninsula, to steal their truck because they wanted the tires.
JOHNSTOWN - A Cambria County little league organization is stepping up to help a neighboring little league whose concession stand was destroyed.
The Punxsutawney Groundhog Little League's concession stand was destroyed by a fire on June 13.
After hearing about the loss, West Suburban Little League (WSLL) President Adam Weir said he knew his team had to do something.

CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — Authorities in Clearfield County say a DuBois Area High School senior is behind bars after he allegedly admitted to stealing over $2,000 from a school safe.
According to the affidavit, the DuBois school police officer was contacted in mid-March after school authorities reported that the funds were missing from a safe inside the school administration office.
Officials say over $900 was reportedly taken from an envelope used by the school's Art Club and another $1,100 was taken from an envelope used for a local scholarship fund.
STATE COLLEGE - The State College Area School District has released the preliminary sketches for the elementary school renovations that were approved Monday night.
Ed Poprik, director of physical plant for the district, said these projects are long overdue.
Radio Park Elementary School, the newest of the three schools to be renovated, was built in 1962.
"When you look at a building that's in excess of 50 years old, you're really beyond the age of maintenance and into the area where you need to replace the building or renovate it,"
