Clearfield Co., PA (WJAC) — Authorities in Clearfield County say a DuBois man is behind bars after he admitted to sending sexually explicit messages to someone whom he believed to be a teenage girl.
Investigators say police were contacted on Wednesday by the online group "814 Pred Hunters," who reportedly provided officers with a binder containing copies of the messages between the supposed "teen" and 30-year-old Ryan Sprague.

Blair Co., PA (WJAC) — This weekend marks the official start of fall and also the return of the annual Harvest Fest at DelGrosso's Park.
It's the 36th year of the event and also marks the park's season finale.
The festival is held both Saturday and Sunday.
The park grounds open at 8 a.m., with craft and food vendors starting at 10, followed by rides opening at 11.
More than 150 craft and food vendors will be there.
HARRISBURG, Pa. (WJAC) — Pennsylvania has a new statewide Opening Day of Trout Season, the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission announced this week.
Starting in 2022, the statewide trout season will open annually on the first Saturday in April.
The PFBC made the decision during their quarterly business meeting Monday in Harrisburg.
The change will offer a longer season to most anglers, said officials, while effectively eliminating the separate regional opening days for Pennsylvania’s 18 southeastern counties.
STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (WJAC) — Penn State University sponsored a traditional Native American powwow Saturday and Sunday. People from a number of tribes and nations gathered at a State College middle school to celebrate Native American culture and spirituality.
It's an old tradition, but for many people in State College, this was their first experience with a powwow.
"It is many things at once," Victoria Sanchez, the powwow's associate coordinator, told 6 News on Sunday.
BOALSBURG, Pa. - Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy in Boalsburg has suspended its football program for the 2018 season.
Athletic Director Chad Walsh said the decision was made due to a lack of committed players for the upcoming season.
“We have not finished a season with more than 18 healthy players over the past 5five seasons. This year, we are looking at fewer than 13 who have committed to playing," said Walsh.
UPDATE | Clearfield Co., PA (WJAC) — Clearfield County coroner Kim Shaffer-Snyder has confirmed new details regarding the investigation into a dead body that was found in a wooded area near Interstate 80 earlier this week.
Shaffer-Snyder says that an autopsy has been completed and the cause of death is still pending.
She notes that while an identity has not been released, authorities have determined that the body is that of a 25 to 30-year-old white female.
